The Mission
Semiprecious is a neighborhood cocktail bar built on the idea that greatness doesn’t need to be gilded. Inspired by Le Corbusier’s mastery of humble materials, we craft outstanding drinks from everyday elements—elevating the familiar without overcomplicating it. Rooted in Sunnyside, we’re a place for neighbors, friends, visitors, and cocktail lovers to gather, talk too loud, and sip something excellent. No pretense, no gimmicks — just damn good drinks and a space that feels like it was always meant to be here.
Sustainability
At Semiprecious, sustainability isn’t a trend — it’s a design choice, a sourcing philosophy, and a way of doing business that respects both craft and community. We have stringent procurement standards, limit citrus usage to reduce agricultural impact, minimize water waste behind the bar, and prioritize sustainable materials in everything from our glassware to our bartop — which might have been your dishwasher at one point in its past life. Our approach is design-forward and aesthetically progressive, but always with an eye on longevity — because a great cocktail bar should feel good, look good, and do good, all at once.
Semiprecious is what happens when a world-class cocktail team and a design studio with a taste for chaos decide to build a bar together. A collaboration between Denver-based design firm Wunder Werkz and the crew behind Thunderbolt and Night on Earth in Los Angeles, Semiprecious is the group's first venture outside of LA—and their most neighborhood-forward project yet. Built by a cast of hospitality lifers, cocktail nerds, and a few horse whisperers for good measure, it's equal parts elevated and easygoing. Come by, grab a drink, and stay until you forget who built it in the first place.
